IAGT 07 Bursary winner Brian Boldt, a student at the University of Calgary.

 

Day-1 Keynote Speaker, Tony Palmer of TransCanada, discussed the significance of the Alaska Highway Pipeline project.

Day-2 Keynote Speakers, Will Roach (C) and Martin Sandell (L) of UTS Energy Corporation, discussed making the Alberta oilsands a secure and sustainable energy supply. IAGT Committee member Jim Noordermeer (L) introduced them.

 

Day-3 Keynote Speaker, John McCarthy of the National Energy Board, offered a regulator's perspective of Canada's energy futures.

Among the many interesting presentations was that of Dr. Dah Yu Cheng of Cheng Power Systems. Dr. Cheng discussed "CLN", a market driven emission control technology based on his steam injected gas turbine cycle (Cheng Cycle).
